Local Business Spotlight: Lacey Grogan of Night & Gale Med Spa Earns Statewide Recognition
Cheyenne County has another reason to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit thriving in Northwest Kansas. Lacey Grogan, owner of Night & Gale Med Spa in St. Francis, has been awarded the 2025 To The Stars Regional Award for Main Street Momentum by the Kansas Department of Commerce.
The Main Street Momentum Award highlights businesses that play an active role in strengthening their downtown districts through investment, revitalization, and community involvement. Lacey’s work with Night & Gale is a perfect example of what this recognition represents.
Rather than being honored at the statewide ceremony, Lacey received her award right here at home on November 17, when Tim Zimmerman, Northwest Kansas Representative for the Department of Commerce, presented it in person at Night & Gale. The local presentation made the moment especially meaningful for a business built entirely on serving this community.
A Local Story Rooted in Service
Lacey grew up in Bird City and later built an impressive 17-year nursing career in emergency, trauma, peri-operative, and flight nursing. In 2017, she returned to Northwest Kansas, where she began pursuing advanced training in medical esthetics—eventually completing over 700 hours of education and mentorship.
Night & Gale Med Spa opened in 2023 with a mission to bring medical-quality aesthetics and wellness services to rural residents who often travel long distances for such care. Since then, the business has expanded its team, broadened its offerings, and helped attract new activity to downtown St. Francis.
Impact Beyond the Treatment Room
Night & Gale’s influence extends far beyond skincare. The spa has become a visible anchor on Main Street—updating storefront aesthetics, drawing visitors from around the region, and inspiring additional investment in the downtown business district.
“St. Francis truly embraced us from the start,” Lacey said. “This award is a reflection of the whole community’s support. I’m grateful for the chance to serve the people who make this place home.”
